2. Zurich, Switzerland - Strasbourg, France

   Today, after your flight arrives in Zurich, Switzerland,* travel to Strasbourg** where you will enjoy an overnight hotel stay. As arrival times will vary, you will be able to relax in the hotel lobby until your room is ready for check-in. This evening, meet your Tour Manager for a welcome briefing followed by a welcome dinner at the hotel.

3. Breisach, Germany - Freiburg - Breisach

   This morning, travel to Germany and experience Breisach, one of the oldest towns in the country. Spend the morning strolling through its picturesque alleys and colorful market square on a guided tour before continuing by coach to Freiburg, the capital of the Black Forest region. This afternoon, enjoy some free time back in Breisach to explore on your own. Perhaps you’ll visit one of the town’s many cafés or ice cream shops before your ship departs for Strasbourg.

4. Bernkastel

   This morning, enjoy scenic sailing through the picturesque Moselle River valley. After lunch onboard, the river brings you to Bernkastel, a charming wine town nestled along the Moselle. Spend the afternoon strolling through its medieval lanes on a guided walk, taking in half-timbered houses, the lively market square, and the timeless charm that defines this storied riverside community.

5. Cochem

   Settle in for a morning of scenic sailing from Bernkastel, gliding along the Moselle as the river winds past vineyards, villages, and historic towns. By mid-morning, your ship arrives in Cochem, a storybook town overlooking the water. Disembark for a guided tour through the charming lanes of the Old Town before making your way up to Reichsburg Castle,*** perched high on a hill with sweeping views of Cochem and the Moselle Valley below. After your visit, return to the ship and enjoy lunch onboard. This afternoon is yours to explore Cochem at your own pace. You may wish to take the chairlift for panoramic views over the Moselle or visit the historic mustard mill to learn more about traditional mustard production.

6. Cologne

   Wake up to scenic sailing as your ship continues along the Rhine. Around midday, your journey takes you to Cologne. After lunch onboard, join your fellow travelers for a walking tour of the city’s Gothic Old Town. Wander along cobblestone streets and admire the Cologne Cathedral, the Roman Dionysus mosaic, and the Romanesque church of St. Martin. Top off the walking tour with a tasting of Cologne’s famous Kölsch beer.

   Your journey brings you to Cologne, where you’ll join a guide for a walking tour of the city’s Gothic Old Town. Continue your afternoon gliding along the Rhine River and passing through the picturesque German landscapes dotted with medieval towns.
